Got 95% of the sanding and prep done, fixed a few dents and bends and like 65 of the 78 holes drilled in the body for random accessories welded up.
Literally 98% of the paint has been scraped off a razor width at a time. If I knew then what I know now I would have cut some Masonite to fit over the windows and took it to get blasted clean!
On to a little bondo work now that my shop heater magically started working so I can warm it up enough for bondo and painting.

For the astute, what’s wrong in those pictures? (Besides being sideways lol)
Free set of used 80s chrome body moulding to the first correct answer!

Hint, the story behind it will be funny....

Only thing I can see is the top of the pass door being bowed way out?

There's no pegboard anywhere in that garage. A real workspace has to have some pegboard.

Lol, no. The bed pic is aboout the only spot that doesn't have shelves full of....stuff and copious amounts of **** hanging from hooks, nails, etc.

Truck camper was parked there for years until recently so no wall hangings there yet.

Haha, you're almost right, except that's not tape, that's a new white air cleaner element.
However a Glad kitchen trash bag did cause a small issue. Actually I caused a small issue. Covered the air cleaner up with a garbage bag when I was spraying the truck down. Forgot about bag, started truck, took 1.7seconds approximately for the garbage bag to choke the life out of the engine and try to inhale the air cleaner!

Put some new center cap stickers on today. Still need to:

polish the bands
polish the center caps
get new screws for center caps
get new lug nuts
paint wheels silver

Trying to freshen up these wheels without spending a ton of cash. Right now I got like $20 in the stickers and $30 in the bands.

Max tossed the newer gear reduction starter onto the engine the other day and it starts like a champ.
Now we have more room for headers on the truck.

He also installed his freshly made battery cables.
The boy did some fine work.

Today the adapter harness came in for the fresh CS130 alternator upgrade.

Little things here and there to make it better.

I still have to order a new fan control unit for the radiator fans.
As @Ricko1966 has mentioned that they may be a reason as to why our alternators have been dying.

The pan from home depot works great!

Ran it for 20 minutes plus cap on. The top hose never pressured up hard. Ran it with fan till it hit 200.

It doesn't seem to be circulating like it should to me. It just slowly pushes it out. My other square you could see it circulating with the cap off. Other vehicles too.

I'll drain it and refill and run again tomorrow till it runs clean. Then refill with green coolant and water.

Jeezus man, that’s some nasty looking coolant.... you might just have a big air bubble in there that’s keeping it from circulating. Does your thermostat have the little wobble bleeder thing on it?
