Got the linkage mostly sorted need to make a longer section for the Enderel butterflies but angles are good no binding and opens about 9/10ths of the way with full throttle.

No worries it's a muscle truck as long as it looks good from about 20 feet, I'm good with it handling like crap and never hauling anything but ass. :peace:

Swapped hood hinges, can close the hood, no more tarp!

Got most of a fuel system installed, TBI pump and sender, return regulator.

Tomorrow will paint the inner fenders and core support, get the core support up on its mounts.

Next weekend is vacation, so be awhile before real updates, but getting closer to a whole truck again.

Gorgeous day, went for a great drive. I had also driven it to town yesterday so before today’s drive I checked bolt torques on the exhaust manifolds I had just replaced and also the exhaust pipe flange bolts while everything was cold. Manifold bolts were all unchanged but the exhaust pipe bolts had loosened so I retightened them and double-nutted them with a bit of Loctite. I’ll check them again in a few days.

Forecast is loooking great (so far!) for next Saturdays car show to benefit the Lynchburg Police Foundation.

Bolted the bumper to determine if my fog lights would fit in the 82 bumper turn signal holes. It will require some metal cutting and welding of the bumper bracket which I don’t want to add to my to do list so I’m gonna look for a different solution similar to newer trucks with a circular light in the middle of the cutout. There were some holes along bumper bottom so I bolted them up to see if they could be mounted there, not sure I like them mounted there.
Agree, I’d try to find a way to mount them in the bumper holes. I always thought that would be cool. Under with OE fog light cutouts before they made em with lights mounted in the bumper.
