Been a while.. pulled my c10 in my new shop for some long overdue needed attention.

Curious if anyone has any recommendations on where "THE" place is to get new bedsides. 1981 fleetside if anyone has a pair in Nebraska. But wasnt sure if anyone on here has had any recent good or bad experiences with purchasing new bed sides. Who to avoid? Who has the higher quality new sheet metal parts? My bed sides are just too far gone i feel to try and fix, think im better off starting fresh. Yeah looking for something original is ideal but i dont want to make the time repairing rust and all that, i think new is the route for me at this point. Let me know your thoughts please! Will add some photos soon, for those who are curious where im at with it.

Check local auto body businesses/supplies first, to see if anyway to avoid shipping if possible.
I needed a 8' bedside and was in the area where AMD is located, central GA, stopped in and bought there hauled it home myself.
AMD was great, cool showroom, we opened the box and inspected it.

AMD, DynaCorn are who I'd recommend and if a Premium version is an option, take that. Avoid Goodmark unless desperate.
Heard Sherman was good but never dealt with any of their products. Maybe research KeyParts also.

I'm the AMD guy they're referencing above. I've installed several of our bedsides and other than opening up some holes and doing the normal alignment dance, they've always turned out nice. It's a very nice stamping.

I'm not aware of any dealers in Nebraska off hand but Summit Racing is our biggest distributor and they pretty much rule the roost on shipping prices.

thanks for the feedback everyone. This front crossmember build wasnt as straight forward as i was hoping, the steering in particular. I will post on that in the right forum. But sounds like its best i check my local yards and may end up going with the new AMD parts and go through speedway motors here in Nebraska. Pry get around 80 bucks back in their rewards points, idk we'll see.
