My question is should my 1980 C10 start in both neutral and park? Truck started fine in park and back up lights worked but it would not start in neutral. So I figured the switch was bad. Bought a new switch and replaced it. Clocked it so the reverse lights came on and locked it in position...
Header issues with the angle. They are inexpensive summit long tube headers mounted to a '97 5.7 Vortec. They angle down and I do not like the look plus I am concerned with clearance issues with the truck lowered. Any suggestions on maybe shorty or mid length headers that are affordable?
I have a 1980 C10 and I just installed a new transmission crossmember with the "W" so when I run my exhaust it will be tight to allow for ground clearance. The issue I have is that the parking brake line crosses over just aft of the crossmember and it will be right in the way of the exhaust...
Thank you, I believe everything is there including the thermal switch. I just have a hose with a broken plastic fitting in it that looks like it was a T from other vacuum lines. I will T it into the manifold vacuum and see what happens.
I have a 1980 C10 with a turbo 350. There is a single wire coming from the drivers side of the transmission that plugs just above the brake booster and from there it goes to a vacuum devise of sorts (not sure what it is called). From what I can find from an online photo search is this locks up...
