Renewed my tags for $75 after a $25 inspection today. Went out in Feb. So they give me new 02/21 tags which I lose 4 months. Wtf!

Used to they give you that month that you renew them. Guess just another way they **** you. I'm legal now tho.

Yup, if there is a way to pry your wallet open they will find it.

Phuckers as recently as 5 or so years ago only took cash or checks at the courthouse.

WTF - in 2015 ?

Well maybe in 5 more years you can put collector plates on it. I know that varies from state to state

Thanks for checking. Now, if you happen to know where that mystery vacuum tube goes...

That's what my wife would do too. Money would be tight so she had to wait to get the inspection to get the new sticker and/or plates. She mentioned the other day the she rode for free for many months over the years by not being able to get the inspection done right on time each year. She moved just before Texas went to the current system.

I couldnt find it for the life of me. All I saw in the passenger side area were the light harnesses and horn. Did you trace it back to anything?

You can't see it unless the bottom flap on the PS side is pulled down, but there is an oval shaped black plastic vaccum reservoir . My vents drop flow under WOT - I suspect this may be why. I'd hook it back up, but can only guess I will have to pull the battery tray to see if I can figure out where it plugs back in to.

I didnt know they still used those on F bodies. Not surprised though. In any case, a little search turned this up. It might steer you in the right direction:

Yeah, the stuff up top is no issue, and I suspect that my little line goes up there as you can see a vacuum line wrapped in the wiring loom that comes down from it.

It's the in-between that is mysterious !!

Thanks for looking , though !! :waytogo:

It was hidden in the wiring loom - since I knew it was broken I went ahead and pulled it out.

Bought a short piece of 5/32nds vacuum hose, reconnected it, and you, that was the vent loss under throttle issue.
