Cleaned him up and drove it to work a couple of days. There's a young guy that told me if I ever wanted to sell it let him know because he thought it's badass.

I told I had actually been thinking about it. Told him I got 16k in but, would take 10k cash. Told all about it and he said 10k sounds good to him. That he and his brother bought a 55 chevy pickup for 11k last year. Went in half each.

So im glad I got somebody interested in it before having to put it up for sale and deal with that stuff.

Dropped off the SS at my buddy's shop to have the new Halo Headlights installed. Couldn't be happier with the job they did. It looks 100% better now. The best 100 bucks I've spent not to have to touch it. $130 for the headlights. We'll see how long they last working right but, I still think $230 bucks ain't bad to make it look much better.

Do you still have the original headlights? If so, they are fairly easy to restore if you decide to go down that road at some point. I used the oven trick to pry mine apart and paint the (non-reflective) insides black, and wetsand the lenses, then used silicone to put them back together. Also for future reference, it only takes a few minutes to remove and replace the headlights on these cars.

Looks good. I don't havebthe original lights. Too much work for m any way. Lol
I just thought I'd throw some money my buddy's way and not have to mess with it. Just pick it up finished.

Had to adjust them because they were pointing too low. Took it for a spin and it's much better now.
