Summer hood is cut out to accommodate scoop in first pic. That scoop is being replaced this weekend with the 3 flapper bugcatcher that was given to me by RustyNail in the second pic. I like it much better!:cheers:

I'm glad I'm not the only one that chooses not to deal with removing the extra crossmember bolts.

Finally got around to finishing my clock install. I’m surprised to find that’s it’s actually very accurate. Been plugged in for three days and it still reads dead on with my phone which is what I set it by. Yea I screwed up the lens hole. Shut up.

So the 468 turned out to be a bit much for the old turbo 400! split the case around the output shaft. so time for a new trans and gonna rebuild the tcase while I got it out!

Removed my stock steering wheel today. I normally swap them out with something, but this one I had been trying to leave alone. So much for that.

Should have done it earlier, as I like the smaller diameter and thicker rim much better.

Jacked with the light bulb for the oil pressure gauge from behind, cluster in truck.

What a MFer - getting it out is somewhat easy, but figuring out where it goes back - good gawd.

Its working now, but if it keeps acting up I will probably have to get a new cluster housing.

Happy happy, joy joy. Of all the weird things to be worn out ...

Re-tension the tabs on the socket and rub the contacts on the printed circuit with a pencil eraser. Should fix it right up.

Tried the tension trick - no joy. The circuit is relatively new, and on the cluster, which is in the truck in its usual position, so kinda hard to get a pencil back there.

I did play with the wire loops on the bulb itself- maybe that will keep it happy.

I also tried a different bulb at one point- my little fingers got a workout, and it felt like I ripped my forearm to shreds behind the dash, but I don't see any blood, so all good.

pulled the front cover on the 60 to do a little inspection and put in some fresh oil, while it was draining I found a wire retainer off the back of a seal in the bottom of the diff and found there's just a touch of play in the pinion bearing so i'm assuming that's where it came from. Also looking like limited slip, locker or spool time will be coming!
