With the fluid topped off, the truck steers the tires. Just simply won't do it at low rpms, but maybe at 1500 it'll steer fine.

Working on brakes now, all to find the brake lines I ordered for the front (30") aren't long enough.

I did a full lock turn and 34" will be fine. Friend of mine has some, so we're gonna trade even. My brand new lines for his 34" lines.

Can you move your drag link to a different hole on your arm, farther away from the knuckle? Your pump will have an easier time, but maybe at the cost of full turning ability.

Can you move your drag link to a different hole on your arm, farther away from the knuckle? Your pump will have an easier time, but maybe at the cost of full turning ability.
I can, the steering won't be in line anymore, but that's not too much of an issue I suppose.

Bare in mind with the suspension unloaded the angle for steering is better than it looks

Found this today, got a laugh.

This was in my driveway, no doubt from this past Christmas eve when I sheered off the lug studs and lost a wheel on the s10.

Shouldn't be anymore sheering lug studs off.. Gonna be a tough thing to loose 8 lug studs.

And that's with moving it toward the front of the truck? You must have had it in your closest (rearward) hole before?

I broke two of them on a 14FF rear once, but it was my fault. I had installed a new set of wheels, then forgot to retorque them later on. Eventually I saw one lug was broke off and realized what I had done. When I was snugging all the lugs back up, another stud broke right off.

I still gotta have the driveshafts modified to correct length, modify the front crossmember, and do a little tweaking to the steering but I'll get back to that very soon
