suburban wheel well replacements

I have a 1990 suburban and I can not seem to find some replacement wheel wells for the rear. Anyone know a good source. Because been are rotted out. Thanks

Unfortunately they are not reproduced. I've never been able to locate NOS housings either. It's a real bummer.

Really?? Does that mean everyone with a rusty burban has to do custom wheel wells??? Could you use a pickup well and make it work?

Yep, gotta fabricate them. The best option depends on how close you need it to look stock. But none of the options are easy. Build from scratch, start with trailer fenders or start with pickup/K5 housings.

This is true. Usually around here you’re buying a parts truck, otherwise they’re really far gone anyways.

True, but it seems counter productive to cut up a good body in order to patch up a rusty one. Repairing the rusty one with new metal means the non-rusty body gets to live on also.

I did. They only have Jimmy/Blazer ones.

It really perturbs me that none are available new. It's usually the first panel that starts to rust on a Burb.
