Vent Windows

Does anybody know if somebody sells the vent window frames? I see usa1 parts sells a vent window frame with glass and handle for 1981-1987. My truck is a 1979. Is there a difference in the vent window shape or design for these years? Also if anybody has any rust free assemblys they would be interested in selling let me know. My current frames are scaled and bubbled.

the differences are in glass thickness and locking(81-87) vs non locking vent window.

So would I be able to use this frame in my 79? Or would the locking mechanism be totally different? Are you talking about the locking mechanism that just has the push button?

I just bought a set from Classic Parts. $1100! Pricey, but I did want to screw with rebuilding mine. I had to buy one clear and one tinted as they're no longer stock the tinted right side. I will replace the glass with my original glass.

You can also look at San Francisco Craigs List and enter this number 510 651 5874. This company buys insurnace totals and sells the parts. FYI back in the day, I installed a set of 85-87 wing windows in my 77 Blazer. No fit issues.
