I've been working on a USB panel for the ashtray. I bought a blank 3d printed insert from Etsy. And mounted a 12v multiple USB with voltmeter from Ebay. But they have it on Amazon too.

I used the phillips screw that mounts the ash tray assembly for a ground. I ran a power wire to the fuse box and into the ACC for a switched power source.

USB panel mount on Amazon about $15

I hate how they put lines and mark tires up with a bunch of junk nowadays so I got after these with the DA in between rain showers today

Does anyone make these stickers? Mine is just too far gone, when I removed it it came apart.
My buddy Phil can do them, I plan to have him make me a custom one once the truck is done. Idk if it's listed on his site, but if you send him and email, he can get ya taken care of

Took the weekend and installed Design Engineering Inc cut and form transmission tunnel heat shield, managed it two pieces and heat tape, *Note - easier with a friend than alone for placement lol
Man, I wanted to do that to my truck this go-round but I've run out of time and also not sure it would stick to the bedliner that's under the cab (that's not completely adhered to the cab anymore either lol). Looks great though!

If it’s clean - it will stick, appreciated slowly but surely

hmm....be nice to put some digital displays in there for other sensors to display. I've got a small analog tach in there now. Sorry, thinking outside of the box.

Since it was 72°F about a half an hour ago, I installed a short piece of rubber/metal u-channel edge guard on the front crossmember right where my lower radiator hose contacts said crossmember. This should prevent the lower radiator hose from rubbing on steel and creating a leak. No pics since it was dark and greasy under there...

...of course, I made sure there were no Danger Noodles™ lurking beneath the Suburban before I commenced the exercise

Theyre ok looking. Thats what was on my truck when I got it and were horrible tires in the rain. They weren't new but definitely weren't worn out either
Good to know. What about some old school Goodyear Eagle GT+4’s?

I also likes the old school WOL Uniroyal Laredos that came on the squarebody S-10’s/S-15’s. They were a good looking tire.
