Be careful on your clutch selection. If you do the internal throw out bearing you'll need an matching pressure plate. I found that out the hard way...

The internal slave uses a different pressure plate. The fingers are around 1/2" shorter than a clutch fork style one.

so '02 clutch,pressure and slave to match the trans? Im seeing folks using a GTO slave?

looking to put it behind a 6.2 diesel for now, until the kid an afford to put the 6.0 LS in

So use a flywheel that matches the engine, then everything else for an 2002 model. No need to use a gto slave, just use the truck one.
