Same. That's why mine hasn't been touched in a couple months, have too many other things going on. Engine and trans need to come out to do the front suspension, engine needs to come apart while it's out for a new set of lifters, alot of other things too. Actually been trying not to do much of anything to pay some bills down. But the to-do list keeps growing and it's stressing me TF outI’ve been spinning my wheels and not making much progress lately, kinda energy sucking and disappointing. I’m likely going to take a break from this for awhile to reboot my energy drive. I have too many other things which need attention.
Thats a healthy cam choice for a truck.Used the crane and cleaned up the LS3 Texas speed pistons rods and crank BTR cam and springs ls7 lifters taking the block and heads to the machine shop today
Seat fits in there nice! Those are comfy seats, I enjoy the one my truck came with. Not mine but one I'm working on. It's getting a bunch an I've been slacking on it. Mainly because someone started rewiring it an it's up to me to finish that.
However I've about gotten the interior buttoned up finally. It already had vintage air installed. I did carpet, dakota digital wiring, wired the vintage air, radio, amps etc. Built the frame to mount the 96 60/40.

Missing some parts so cant finish up the dash yet. It's also getting a Sniper 2 an a burb 31 gal tank with LS Fab tailight fill, that I still gotta figure out. The tank is already in, I did that part last year along with a notch, shock extenders, all new shocks.
I like them too, I have one in my c10 also. I just wished the blues matched better in this one for him.Seat fits in there nice! Those are comfy seats, I enjoy the one my truck came with.
Mine is the Alan Grove mid mount. Uses 2 bosses on the water pump and 1 bolt to the cylinder head.I fixed my squealing belt this past weekend. While I was at it, I changed all 3. The Gates belts cost over 100-dollar bill. I would like to come up with another Alt. bracket. This is not the best set up. Any ideas? The bracket doesn't play nice with the Vortech heads and , intake.
When I worked at a a/c shop we used some rubber or foam to protect and seal in the evaps and condensers too be surprised how much better it works being sealed up most makes got some foam or rubber plastic from factory (it will also protect it from rubbing and yes the aftermarket a/c parts suck) for the evap seal up top and sides only if you seal the bottom condensed water will build up and water in there will effect the cooling performanceReplaced the EVAP again! The last one only lasted about 18 months or so. They don't fit just correctly, and the high-pressure tube has to be tweaked a bit. I also noticed that the water heater hose was rubbing on the tubing. It might have vibrated it enough to cause it to fail. I located the hose away from the tubing. The tubing still just floats in the air. The stock one ran along the frame and was clamped to it. The correct parts for these trucks are becoming more difficult to find. The generic one size fits all sucks. On the bright side my repaired cover looks good. I would like to see a company make one out of plastic.
Thanks. I did add some foam that came with the packaging to keep the EVAP from moving around as much in the housing. I sealed the housing to the fire wall with Flex seal rubber caulking, as well as the 2 halves. I put foam pipe wrap in the top hole around the tubing. When I worked at a a/c shop we used some rubber or foam to protect and seal in the evaps and condensers too be surprised how much better it works being sealed up most makes got some foam or rubber plastic from factory (it will also protect it from rubbing and yes the aftermarket a/c parts suck) for the evap seal up top and sides only if you seal the bottom condensed water will build up and water in there will effect the cooling performance
