Wiring Harness???

I have starting diggin deep into my truck and found that the existing wiring harness is shredded. Alot of the electrical components doesn't work (stereo, windshield wiper, dimmer switch) so I am considering the universal wiring harness from lmc truck, just wondering if anybody has experience with the harness and the difficulty of replacing. Any and all thoughts on this matter would be appreciated.

I have heard the same thing.
I guess they give you a lot of extra wiring though, I saw a 78 K10 at a car show that had the painless in it but instead of shortening the wiring he just zip tied all of the extra wiring to the firewall.

Well I checked out painless and looks like a great product. The manual that comes with the product shows you every step. But that harness is pricey will have to save a lil for that. Thanks guys

im having problems wit the one i got from lmc....they dont supply the instrument plug aswell..
