Tailgate! It's different then our old square Burbs though, it lifts up like a minivan. I'm pretty sure the glass pops open too. I think even a barn door lover such as yourself could appreciate the functionality of it
Liftgate! Push the button to pop the glass and lift the handle for the whole gate, Unlike the barn doors or tailgates, it will keep rain off of your head while loading stuff. Just keep an eye on the struts, because the liftgates are not light. I've hit my head on the gate of my Trailblazer a couple times since it wasn't all the way up. Really like the bench too, the consoles just take up too much space.

I have messed with a lot of the liftgates before, but they were customer vehicles and it's been a few years now. Couldn't remember how they were set up.

No barn doors here. Apparently the rear wiper is the only thing that doesn't work on the truck.

My wife does have a couple complaints about the Burb. 1, it's not loud enough and 2, she can't feel it shift. I know how to fix the quietness, but not sure about the trans. Can a good ol fashioned shift kit be installed or is this something that's better taken care of with pcm tuning?
