what's a 4l60e worth?

I've got a 4l60e that was in my s10, was behind a 4.3 so it'd fit a v8, but what are they worth?

what's the price difference between trans, convertor and dust cover alone, compared to with computer and wiring harness included?

Up by me I see a lot of used ones (just trans and convertor) go anywhere from $150-$400, depending on miles and condition of course. Rebuilt ones start around $575 and go up depending on build levels. The computers and harness are not really a selling point to the buyers here, and apparently the buyer isn't too worried either, or the sellers would be using that as a selling point more.

that's good because I need a harness and computer maybe since I'm putting the 4.3 in my fullsize 88 and then need the tps plugin for it, and use the rest for the s10 with v8.

I had one that was in great shape with 60K or so on it. I gave it to my favorite trans shop because I figured they could do something with it. I told them they could have it for free, but they took 100 bucks off my next bill.

So I'd say $100 minimum if it works fine.
