Not new, but brought new life to it, I had inherited it with my uncles tools.
I had initially thought it was an inline air drill, discovered it’s a die grinder with a Jacob’s chuck. Not sure how but things clearly went pear shaped at some point:

But I had also inherited a new Jacobs chuck that I assume was intended to go on it. Turned out I did not need to get the old chuck opened, but I wasn’t sure if there was or wasn’t going to be a screw to remove first, like hand drills have (to keep it from unscrewing in reverse).

Unscrewed that nut at the chuck end and the “cartridge” comes out and there is a tang I was able to put a wrench on and with the chuck clamped in the vise, simply unscrew it, then install the new chuck.
