What new tools have you got lately?

In reality, I'm too lazy to cut a bunch of small pieces of metal with a grinder, yet too cheap to buy a real sized chop saw from Hobo Freight. And I'd rather get paid to work at home instead of driving to the shop that's 50 min away. One day I will be able to afford a 14" Evolution chop saw. One day.

Got a pulley puller from the auto parts store on the loan. Forgot to return it in the allotted time so now I have a pulley puller. Yay new tools. Though I hate buying the mistreated loner tools.

Yeah, we got one at the shop a few years ago. I'm chop saw spoiled now. I will never ever go back to a (full size) abrasive saw again. That saw has made my life SOOOOOOO much easier. F**k abrasive saws, lol.

I bought this from Amazon to replace the new lock strip I had to buy after I had SafeLite install a new windshield in our 1985 Chev K20. SafeLite broke the original and said they couldn’t get one so I had to find one and install it myself.

Yep, incredibly fast and no deflection.

Only downside is when incompetent employees use it and can't control the vibration. They destroy the blades. We've went through probably 20 of them. But still not bad considering that saw has likely made thousands and thousands of cuts. I've built a lot of equipment.

Well had to run to HF this morning. My grinder spun up than started smoking. Kinda pisses me off, the warranty ran out two months ago. So I got a new grinder, while I was there I picked up the better set of wheels dollies, couple of other things. 450 bucks later...

I hate those bauer grinders. They take a god damn week to get up to speed! Then ya grind on em hard enough and they choke out.

This one spins up pretty damn quick. It's quite. I use it for cleaning up bolts.

I finally mounted the Prentiss vise. Used genuine 2002 Dodge ram nuts and bolts to mount it.
