NICE! How is the little strips on the bed-side of the sliding glass? Mine is hard as plastic and I am searching for new to replace it to help stop the rattling.

They are old and brittle and curling up on the ends. Need to soak some.more with silicone and then try to glue the ends back down. They seem tight though other than that. Wierd how this frame sticks out so far on the outside.

Mine has curled and no longer sits in the slot, I looked on McMaster-Carr and found on that looks similar in dimension, but doesn't have the locking tab on the end to hold it in the slot. I need to measure mine to see if that M-C one will even work. I may try soaking brake fluid or silicone as you mentioned and see if I can it the sit in the slot in the meantime.

I will once I measure mine. Mine has conveniently curled up in a way that allows me to get good measurements, as the end is completely visible. Once I verify mine matches or is somewhat close, I'll post up my findings.

Bought this led light switch from HF. Added some magnets and stuck it on the roof since I don't have a dome light. It's plenty bright. Not bad for 4 bucks or so.

Ordered up some transmission lines from Inner Tubes, and today I’m going to stop by the parts store to pick up some ATF hose and FI clamps so I can make the connection from the external cooler to the radiator trans cooler provisions. If anyone has a flaring tool that they recommend let me know. Years ago I bought one from Hobo Freight but never used it- haven’t heard good things about them.

I know @Mr Clean recommends one in one of his threads. I don't remember which thread, though.

This past weekend I fit the "bad" dash and installed all the AC ductwork. Put the glove box in, installed the seat and all the restored belts. Trimmed an awful lot to get the dash in and still need to pull it and remove some foam to level it out/fit the sides better and get the new bezel to seat properly. Ive just left it hanging for now. New seat foam has severely decreased the belly to wheel clearance. Probably ought to put the steering wheel in next, lol.

Well that wasn't too bad.

Last night I measured the weatherstripping, and while doing so I realized it is a different shape than I originally thought it was. I thought it was T-Shaped, it looked like it from the gas pump as I pumped gas the other day. It's more of a U-Shape with a cap, and McMaster-Carr does not have that shape. Actually I cannot find that shape anywhere. The notebook I drew the shape in and wrote down the measurements, well, I left it at home. I'll try to remember to grab it at lunch.

New seal looks good BTW
