I posted in my build thread but decided to share here too

Built and installed my A/C and heater lines this weekend. I was stumped trying to get everything to route and lay down neatly until I stumbled on an oddly bent piece of hardline left from one of dad’s projects. It was the perfect addition to make everything fit just right. (It’s the one on the low pressure side of the compressor)

Do you know where the block an hardline came from or was it part if the kit. I had to have a S10 line set modified for my vintage air setup because I couldn't find anything like that.

I forgot all about you having rallies on it at one point. I'm normally a rally kinda guy, but I really do like the current stance and wheel combo the best of all three.
I do love me some rallies. I've thought about getting another set to run on with some fat rubber here and there. I'd just have to grind on my Wilwood calipers up front to get them to clear. We'll see, the current front wheels are in pretty bad shape, the rear tires are getting close to bald and I'm just getting the urge to change it up

I'll bet it's just fine. Even if it pumped all 5-6 quarts out, there would have only been just a couple seconds at the end with no oil pressure.
your right, primed it just in case. All's good.

Vintage air sells the manifolds (I think), I found one that points straight up and the one I picked pointed both towards the front. I think I got it from Summit.

The short chunk of hardline was from a Vintage Air kit for a ‘56 Chevy. It’s the short piece that goes on the evaporator/heater box inside the cab to plumb it through the firewall.

Dad didn’t use any of the vintage air stuff to go through his firewall on his ‘56, he did it all custom to make it lower profile.

ETA: I think these are the manifolds I considered (Summit won’t let me search my purchase history far enough to see what exactly I ordered). I also had to order gaskets for it to seal.

After thinking about it and redrawing it 10 times, I took the easy way out.
Now to cover it and I'll be good to go...........
(Cup holder insert is GM Tahoe?, tray is a Tacoma piece. Got both from Amazon)

You must be RICH! Normal Joes can't afford to waste that much of a tire at the current pricing of them! :laughing1: :laughing1:
I am certainly not looking forward to replacing them. Can't complain though, they're at 35k miles with plenty of burnouts and I could probably get another 8-10k out of them.
