Replaced the right side headlights (one dead, one working but with moisture inside), cleaned everything (dirt, wasps nests, etc.), T9'd the connectors and greased the contacts. Keeping the bezel out (and the left side too) for sand/prime/paint. Didn't realize how filthy they were. Haven't settled on a color yet. Not too worried about being exactly stock, this is just my daily driver.

Tasks in progress:
- Renovation of right windows, mirror, and interior panels
- Left brake light gremlin (works most of the time but fails occasionally)
- Rainwater intrusion at both kick panels
- Auto gear indicator not working, (probably the little string...)
- Replacing all vacuum hoses and fittings a bit at a time (remarkable how much better things run w/o little vacuum leaks here and there ;-/

Teaching 5 yr old grandson how to paint lol. Loved every minute even though I did get tired of saying "keep moving" and "don't paint over that silver band" on the right lol.

let us know what you find on the kick panels. My water isn't coming from
mine turned out to be the windshield seal on the passenger side bottom.

Today I went to buy some fuel hose. The same guy who helped me on post 17,446 asked how can I help you? I said I need 1 foot of 3/8 fuel hose 1 foot of 3/16th fuel hose. He comes back up carring 2 rolls sets them on the counter I picked them up and looked at them to make sure he got fuel hose. He looked at me and said you want to double check me again? I said no thought you wanted me to verify that's what I wanted.paid 11 and change for 2 foot of fuel hose and 3 clamps. NBD I can fix my truck today. But on the way home it clicked,he's the same guy that couldn't find 3/8 steel line, then said they didn't have it,to which I replied its right behind you. He said that's for brakes. So the guy who can't find or sell me a piece of 3/8 steel line wants to get butt hurt because I verified he grabbed fuel hose. Geez what's wrong with people these days. Update on using an old 3 port pump as a bypas, unfreaking believable. Got get a valve like this and it will done twist in for more, twist out for less.
Now half my sons buddies work at the local Shucks or Vato zones so for the next year or so I can pretty much go into any of those stores and tell them kids what to do! Lol.

And then text their dad and tell ‘em to teach their kid the difference between fuel hose and heater hose! Lol.

The past couple of days I was able to take the steering column apart one more time and get the horn right this time, replace rotors, calipers, pads, and wheel bearings and get rid of the constant squealing. Bled the brakes afterwards and cruised around enjoying my quiet square lol. It's the small wins.

I took the body back off my frame so I could clean the underside and fix anything that needs to be fixed.

Well I got my little feel goods hurt today. Took the top off, and took out the crappy roll cage. When I took off the top found a problem. :emotions122:

She looks a little naked with out the top on...

Time to Bust out the welder and grinder
You are 100% correct. I have my 2wd Blazer I can rob the parts I need. Just kinda hurts to see that kind of rust because the PO didn't want to take the time and seal the top correctly.

Yea I know what you mean I got some around the windshield passenger side where they attached the spotlight would have been a simple fix with a dab of silicone not anymore!

I just picked up this '91 parts truck. My SIL messaged me about 10PM last night with the link (FB MP) & I told him to quickly reply that I'd get it.
