I have seen them. What I would love to find is the stepside fender that has the dimple to mount the spare on the side of the bed.

I thought the spare tire side-mounts were only available for 67-72 models...?

Finally mounted the hood today. Been two years or more since the hood been on the truck. Got to paint the ash tray, mount it and the glove box, tune it up and get a front end alignment. After that going to drive it the rest of the year then pull the bed for restoring.

Wait... So you put a cowl hood on the truck and don't even use the cowl function?

Love the look of the cowl hood. Sure wish they were cheaper so I could grab one for my truck.

Ended up throwing on a set of wheel spacers purely to allow the wheels to be rotated.

Set the timing finally. It was way off. Cap, rotor and wires next. Got the good brass cap!

Wow, I've never seen that before. Good catch - was it acting up when you started it or did you just notice it?

Sounded the same as the last 20 months i have owned it...... Bolts were like 3/8" loose. Guess i have never even touched the starter so it has prob been loose for quite a while

Now it sounds much better and starts better too.. By better i mean quiet, it wasn't grinding or anything just kinda loud.

The gray grease has me confused though, it feels like Moly grease

Looks like antiseize being washed off the starter bolts by an engine iol leak. That and if that starter has been flopping around under there it is wearing the aluminum housing so there could be some fine aluminum there too.
