Fuggin A Lovely !!! What is it??? Huh.. What is it, what is it ???

LOL! I've got to update my build thread.

Here's the quick list (some new, some reused) -

454 (4 bolt main), hypereutectic pistons (9.4:1 comp), '781 heads, Comp Cam roller cam (.566 lift, 215 duration @ .050 on 110° lobe centerline)

Give me a few minutes and I'll put a more detailed description in my build thread.

Well i did all new powef steering lines yesterday along with putting some mufflers on it so now its not sounding like a racecar going to work. On my next days off im going to be dropping the left tank and swapping it for a good one with a new sending unit and putting a good tank back on the right side with a new sending unit and putting all new rubber lines on it since the hardlines still look good with no rust on them. I also put a new fuel tank switch on the dash yesterday.

Put a new (well, a good spare) ignition lock cylinder in the 4x4 Burb this morning. The old one crapped out and you had to turn the truck off with vice grips.

I took the plow bracket off of my 80 friday night, along with the bumper brackets, and the crusty old exhaust manifolds. Next up its the 350/465/205, then I'll put a mock up 350 back in it with the 80e/241... Ford dana 44 will go in, then start fabricating body mounts...

Tied up all the loose grounds for the ALDL / Park Neutral Switch inside the cab. Also got the straight six out of the truck, and getting ready to put the TBI 305 in. Did some other stuff I don't remember too.

Not sure what the smog requirements are in Texas, but if you have to smog that truck, don't forget to put a V-8 canister in the truck and whatever else that may be required for that year truck.

took the boys and I out for a spin on Saturday morning for a little while. They were beyond excited when I asked them if they wanted to go.

It was Saturday morning and I'd been thinking about it since Friday afternoon. We'd just eaten breakfast and as usual they start asking what we're going to do today because they always want to keep moving and doing stuff. Anyhoot, I said "oh I don't know. Probably nothing" and I went off to the bathroom as they start to whine  I come back and the oldest one had gotten dressed already and I say everyone who is dressed gets to go for a truck ride let's go!! :D I did this just teasing just to see what my 3 year old would do. He leaped off the couch and ran to his room as quick as he could. 10 seconds later he brought back shorts and a t-shirt to help him get dressed :happy175:

They really had a good time and loved it. We mostly drove around town just cruisin but at one point we got on the highway for about 2 or 3 miles. As I was merging onto the highway I punched the gas, the truck roared and I looked over and my 5 year old was beaming from ear to ear with enjoyment. It was pretty funny. I have a feeling he's going to get a few speeding tickets when he gets older. I hope he has a good job to pay for them :D
