Exhaust leak on passenger side. Three nuts for flange triangle surprisingly easy to remove.

Flange on exhaust pipe is rotted off. Heat riser butterfly is gone.

Autozone rents for free exhaust tools. I need a straight flange pipe about 8" long. Shouls be easy to replace.

Should I replace heat riser or get a bypass???

By the way I live in southern Arizona.

Wouldn't worry about heat riser in AZ. They operated marginal at best when factory new!

Out of curiosity, I stuck my hand under the carpet and she was a little wet under there. Giggity Pulled it all up and Sound Deadened and closed cell foamed it. Found the water leak in the cowling where the old seam sealer had shrunk and cracked. Put new seam sealer down and also replaced the kick panel vent A/C version. Got the interior back inside today

I wish someone had found mine before the floor board Rust and the side rot out like they do. I fixed the leak and globbed goop (Bondo...) and whatever I could in the rust holes like those of us who don't weld in patch panels do. It works for what it is. Truck was never meant to be a show truck anyway.

Bed liner was not color matched like I wanted but it’ll do for now.
I redid mine as well. The rivets didn't come back together like I wanted. One side I took the hinge apart and the other side I left it together. Neither side is perfect but works. You really need one of those C clamp things for the hinge rivets. I did mine in the vice and it looks ok and seems as good as it should be.

Trying to remove the worn out tint. What a pain in the crapper that is. Got 2 windows and both vents done. Went through 6-7 razor blades and took me an hour.

That's a shitton of razor blades, work smarter not harder.
