Installed a battery tender on the truck so that when winter comes I can just plug her in and not worry about the battery having undo stress from sitting.

Replaced the starter and striker bolt bushings today. Then put about 100 miles on her!

New brake master cylinder finally installed today. Got a flag mount fabbed up too, so I should be good to go for my trip up to the dunes on Sept. 8.

Got the oil changed and new ratio adapter installed for the speedometer. Found out I was backwards on my math and I went in the wrong direction with the adapter. Ooops....

Guess I'll add mine to the list here. I been busy all weekend, doing a bunch
of neglected projects. Changed oil in the 81, and disassembled and
repacked the front wheel bearings. None too soon as the drivers side was
in need of a good tightening up. Greased all the fittings also. Not to be a nag,
but if you haven't jacked up your truck for a while, maybe you should.
I found out when I put my Silverado wheels on.

Cleaned her up, loaded up the family, and took her to her first "Cruize-In". Then brought her home and covered her up in her new truck cover.... :love62:

I ain't done squat. My brother currently has the crew cab, the black Burb has a driveline issue (still haven't looked at it) so my wife is driving the blue Burb, I haven't driven the stepside in 2 months and I haven't touched either K5 project since spring. Sucks to be my squares right now.

Hmm, changed the power steering pump and the master cylinder last weekend, sealed up the stupid a/m sunroof with seam sealer, fixed some leaks. Busy busy!

I hear ya! Love driving mine around even though it looks like it's about to fall apart and I can hear the wind through missing seals. She's solid though...
