Is the clutch disc possibly installed backwards? I didn't see that question asked yet.

Pleased to announce that I my rig just made its maiden voyage as 5speed. 40mi with out issue. Well, it's got buckets of issues. But ran and drove so nice. Just in time for $4.99 no corn fuel

@Hunter buddy (guy whos home shop its been at for 2 years) ordered a different clutch kit and swapped it for me. The clutches were considerably different. Pretty sure I was sent the wrong clutch from Rock Auto. Packaging is long gone but I'm sure I can find some form of ID on the clutch itself to find out for sure.

Much to my dismay....the knocking sound was still there. But it shifted into gear and moved under its own power with no issue. Turns out that was coming from the back side of the motor not the Trans. Pulled a valve cover and ran it for a second. Was not pumping oil to the top of engine. Or at least very little. Shut it off and tried it again and it shot a geyser out, the knocking went away and it started oiling normally. Runs like a dream
