One thing is for sure, though.... It's got a lot of hours and money into it. Just his taste in some areas is questionable:)

people need to learn this about these trucks.

When You Put This Much Money In a Truck You Will Not Get What You Have In It.

Not unless they buyer has more money than brains.

And further more that is just overdone and tacky but to each it's own i guess

For sure!!! I know for a fact I'll never get out what I've put into my truck unless I don't spend another dime on it and I let inflation make the value rise high enough in ten years or something.

Craftsmanship looks to be nice and I like the interior minus the wheel. No way is it a $26,000 truck. But then again I wouldn't pay $26,000 for any square body....

Yea dude, I remember a thread last summer on another forum about a guy asking if he should buy another members almost complete pickup for 5k.

The deal was, the guy had basically a painted roller with a little bit of damage to the bed. The truck had a hot small block in it but had never been started and sat for a long time, the truck also had a really expensive set of rear brakes.

The whole thing turned into a kind of heated and insult fest since alot of us explained you could find a rolling project on CL for under 500 bucks and put the other 4500 into everything you want.

Since they guy had around 5k invested he was trying to sell it for that. Right now I have about 2k into my truck but if I was to sell it I doubt I get over 1k

That's the thing with customs for the most part. It takes finding someone with similar tastes to buy it or someone who wants to fool with changing it. Now with DV8's I'd probably pay a lil more than 5k for it because the craftsmanship is good and I like all the mods done to it. Someone else might look at it, though, and say it's a 1k truck.

Yea, customs are always hard to sell because we build what we like and not what someone else may like. I won't be selling mine, only costs insurance to keep it so why sell it?

Sold my '04 back in '07 for $15,000 and that was hard to get

The wheels are horrible and it's a little too modified for my tastes, but the work looks like it is quality. No way it's worth that asking price though.

I think it was a diesel too. It has the extra firewall insulation and the cover over the evaporator box.
