When did the vibration start? Gradually or all at once? What speeds does the vibration occur? Checked your u-joints and tires?

I sold the truck two years ago to a buddy he replace a rear U-joint I'm trying to buy it back but not paying him what he wants since it has the vibration... I want to say I felt like it vibrated after 25mph and got worse... My buddy states it goes away after a certain speed? Only play I found was front drive shaft but that isn't spinning...

He shouldn't have had to mess with the pinion to do the side gears in the carrier, unless he did a ring gear and pinion.

Check diff fluid and maybe take the driveshafts off and see if there's play in the pinions

by clocking it I mean when you take it off originally you should make a line with a marker or something and mark the one side of the driveshaft by the yoke and then put a line on the same side of the yoke as you marked the driveshaft, before you take it apart. Basically it can be 180 degrees off

But since it may be the wrong way you can mark the opposite sides then take it apart so you don't get confused
