Hey guy I'm praying someone can help cause this is turning into a huge head ache. I have 79 k10 with a 350 in it. I want to put aftermarket valve covers and breather on it. Here is my problem first of all my old valve covers the right side has one hole in it for the pcv valve, the left side has two holes one to put oil in, the other has a line that runs to the breather. ok the new valve covers only have two holes.how can i hook up the pcv system? ok 2nd problem The old breather has two hoses one runs to the egr valve the other one runs from the bottom of the breather to what i think is called the vacuum motor on the top of the breather how can i fix all of that to use the new breather?

The valve covers with 2 holes, one in each cover, right? The smallest hole will be for the pcv, the larger one "should" have came with a breather/vent, that also doubles as the filler. Most people eliminate the egr/all the stuff not really necessary for the truck to run.

I think people eliminate the whole thing and put a block-off plate over the hole in the intake where it sits. I haven't had one in so long I cant really tell ya the easy way to just unhook it.
