76 k10 w 350 sbc---I just replaced my carb and valve covers but i have no idea where all the carb hoses/distributor or the valve cover breather hoses go. does anyone have a picture or a diagram of where everything goes? also which breather hoses can be replaced with the new style breather caps with built in filters that snap in the valve covers ? Thank you in advance im new!

Post pics of your engine. Not joking we don't know what you have until we see it they aren't all the same. And replacing working pcv, with valve cover vents is a step backwards. PCV keeps moisture, etc. out of the crankcase and helps prevent oil leaks. And your carbureator is calibrated for it. As for vacuum routing, pig at a poke I'd say run manifold vacuum to the distributor vacuum advance. Run pcv to the left valve cover, vent the right valve cover to the air cleaner . Do you not have your factory emissions sticker that shows your vacuum routing?

Without pix the only thing I can suggest is that you check your hose to see if your seams are straight.
