I'm trying to get a handle on all the vacuum ports and hoses. I'm getting a misfire and/or compression loss that I think is attributed to vacuum lines.

Any help on how best to id where they all are and what is critical.

Do you have all the factory emissions on that truck? If so, your truck is a rare animal. Pre-TBI truck emissions were complex, but they're not hard to get a grasp on and either keep it all going or selectively delete components. What transmission or gearbox do you have? Does it have the emissions sticker under the hood? That three letter code is the best way to pin what setup you have.
