Transfer case seal

I have a np208 I have to replace the seal that connects the transmission and t-case. Question I have is should I use RTV sealant with the paper gasket?

I never use the gasket. I just use RTV.

Do`nt never use RTV with a paper gasket, that stuf`ll cause the gazget to squish out and makeum many leaks.
I always use the paper gaskets, along with a very nice smear of NO.1 Permatex, number 2 will work too, that is the permatex in the brush in cap bottle.

You can also use Permatex spray on tack and seal to hold the gasket in place and create a better seal.

Used RTV alone will see how it did in the morning
