Add a tranny cooler in front of the radiator. You're welcome.

Thanks for all the great advice! Looking to purchase an oem torque converter. I feel like I am purchasing such an unknown and haven't found one online that does not have a bunch of bad reviews. Does anyone have a recommendation on purchasing an oem Torque converter for my set-up stated above?

Thank you!

Well you are on the other side of the continent, but I would recommend Pat's Performance Converters. Family owned business. Would appear they are not online, but you could call:

Pat's Transmissions /Pat's Converters.
Folsom, Pennsylvania
Phone: 610-586-4800
Open Monday 8:00 AM EST

Shipping would probably kill the deal.

Pat had a trans shop and was tired of buying converters that failed. He opened a converter shop and was building his own. Started building converters for area Dealers as they could not get good rebuild converters either. Pat passed this year but is survived by 3 sons. At least 2 are still involved as one runs the converter shop and the other the trans shop.
