I also have a 200 watt kicker amp under the seat, and the PA speaker is mounted under the hood behind the drivers headlight. It works pretty well

All my radios had the PA option, and I always had one hooked up, But I never actually used them. But I figured if it’s on the radio it might as well be hooked up.

Another example on the need for proper punctuation!!

I have a 200 watt kicker amp mounted under the seat. The PA speaker is mounted under hood, behind the headlight.

Better?

No problem, once I re-read what I typed, I could understand the confusion.

When announcing over a PA, is the output controlled by the volume knob, or is it just a set level?

I like the placement of it. I was trying to figure out where to put mine as I didn't really want to drill into the dash but at this point I know this truck is mine for life so do what I want with it, right? Just need to find out where a whip looks good on a Suburban...I don't have a roof rack yet
Screw it right to the side above the tail light!! 102" whip with the tip tethered to to the roof above the rear door!

Lol sorry im old school, i love the huge whip antennas

I hear ya. I want a whip also but I don't want to drill into the quarter panel. If this was the 90's I probably would have lol I'm thinking of some sort of bracket off the mirrors
