ok so i have a 2 inch add a leaf in the mail and i am ready for new tires. they will be 33x12.5x15 and it is between the bfg mud terrain km2 or the goodyear wrangler duratrac. this is going to be daily driven but mud performance is very important because that is plentiful here in sc. i know the duratracs are a/t's but would they be suitable in mud at all? or sould i go with the km2's?

i'm goin with MT baja claws. 33x12.5x15. i wouldn't suggest goin 12.5 inches wide unless you've got a 10 inch rim, just my .02

I wouldn't go with either of those tires, the Goodyears are too mild and the BFG's are overpriced. They also are not as good wearing and long lasting as the older version. And stock rallies are 8 inches wide, and a 12.5 tire works really well on an 8 inch rim.

I LOVE the Hankook Dynapro MT's on my K5. They are the 33x12.5x15 size, still look new after over 10K on them, aren't very loud, and have good traction in the mud. They also are very round and there are no shakes or vibes even at high speeds.

Hard for me to compare. My experience with the KM2's is in a different (skinnier) size and different situations. The Hankooks ain't no Swamper, but they do seem to perform well. They are an MT type of tire after all.

after some research the mt in the hankooks actually stands for maximum traction, interesting

what about something cheaper or at least last I checked, like some mastercraft courser mt's or some pro comp extremes or whatever they call em. I saw them in summit, cheaper then bfg's and goodyears.

I agree 12.5 on the 8 inch rallys is fine, had em ran em never had a problem, never had add a leafs either, fit nicely. Then we had a 4 inch lift and they were way too small.
