So after many many hours of fixing and fixing and fixing, I think that the time has come for me to get a new motor. She is old and tired. I picked up this truck last June and it has been nothing but issues. I'll fix one thing, and another two issues come up. Now I'm pouring oil from the dipstick/tube and my oil pressure drops to about 5psi when I'm at a stoplight. So before I get totally stranded and pissed off even more than I am now, I think that I'll order a new motor.
Thinking of these options:

And I might be able to get a smoking deal on this one since I know the manager really well:

Couple questions though. What is the difference between the two from Summit aside from the HP?
Is it better to get new or re manufactured? Considering the Oreilly motor has a 3 year unlimited warranty on it, it seems like a great option.
Is it safe to assume that the base engines that are sold from Jegs and Summit are the same?
I'm seriously done with trying to fix the motor in the truck. The time and money that I'm spending isn't work it.
If you have any thoughts or advice, I'm all ears.
Thanks in advance.
Brandon
