Howdy all,

Any momo owners out there? Thinking about one for my old suburban. My factory wheel is perfect condition but would like a wood wheel.

Can't speak on the wood but I'm very glad I went down to a 15" wheel vs the stock 16" for room's sake. You wouldn't think it but that extra inch makes a ton of difference. My buddy has a 14" Forever Sharp and it's too small, feels strange. I went with the Comfort Grip and am very happy with it

Thanks! Digggin that wheel. They make one in wood too.

The momo California classic is 14.25 and my wheel is 16. Just curious if the momo looks out of place, but my suburban is starting to look not normal anyway lol

The only thing that bugs me about the 14" wheels is that suddenly the shifter looks way too long, but otherwise they don't look out of place. Here's an install video with a sorta similar looking wheel just to give an idea:

I have a Momo California in my 1984 C10. I think it is a 14", floor shifted so it doesn't look too small. I'm very happy with it. Even found a bowtie horn button, tho I can't remember where it came from.

Good choice!

I had a momo prototipo in an old air cooled 911 that I used to own. It was a great wheel in that context. However, I don't know that they fit the character as well in a square.

Installed. Images didn’t show but the matte wood and tan pinstripe on the wheel works well with the tan interior. Also, this one is the largest Momo sold (14.30 in diameter).

Looks good. I might try to find a bow tie or GM horn button if possible.

No experience with MOMO despite all the race cars/off roaders it was always stock or a Grant or similar aftermarket.

That brushed or polished T shaped style is what I was looking for when I did the interior in my truck however although I'm 5" 9" I have a short inseam (28") so I'm sitting as far forward as my seats go and a 13"-14" wheel is what I need to run to not be up into it or feel like I'm driving a bus not many reasonably priced options in the 13-14" range unless you run a Grant (What I currently have) or some sort of sports car looking weird shaped "race wheel" 500 plus for some of the billet ones I've found and liked the look of is ridiculous.

What I'm currently considering swapping too. Not near as fancy as most billets however Its leather and 14" vs the 13" foam of the GT classic currently in the truck half the price of other things I've look at and also fits my aftermarket column and 5x2.75" adaptor so will be a quick direct swap.

Think it'll just look much better than this. Then hopefully this spring I can get the floor and cab brace fixed and get her carpeted finally.

Empire Fabrication sells a gas pedal spacer that may allow you to put the seat back an inch, plus it aligns the pedals better in my opinion.
