My truck has 36" tires and I'm not sure on the gears in the axles yet but they seem pretty high. When I go to take off and I get on the gas the engine rpms raise but it doesn't gain speed very fast. Once it gets to the right speed it shifts smooth and doesn't kickout of any gears, but the slow speed gain happens in every gear.My question is does this just mean I have to high or gearing or is the transmission slipping? This is my first lifted truck so I'm not sure if this is normal or not. Also I checked the fluid and it is right at the full mark.

It's normal with big tires with stock drivetrain it feels like it has no power, if it's a half ton you'll probably have 3.08's or 3.43's if you're lucky you have 3.73's which isn't bad for stock.

Thanks for the reply I really appreciate it I've been worrying about driving it thinking it was going to leave me stranded. I guess I'm just use to stock vehicles, thanks again for the info!
