Ok need help! New to the group thanks for having me. Long and short picked up an 87 with a 350. When I got it the dash wasn't working. After removing and finding someone had the plug shorted got my dash cluster back. Someone installed the classic 3 gauge setup for temp oil pressure and battery. Bought an oil pressure sender works great. PROBLEM in the temp sensor sending unit. I put the new one in and my gauge pegs to hot in like 5min. I've grounded it out and it pegs past hot. Measured voltage have 12 volts on the spade. OHM the sender have 200 ohms at right around 200 deg mark. Put the mechnical back in truck runs at the 200deg mark. What am I missing?? Thanks
