TBI coil pigtail question

So, working on the TBI to carb swap. Can somebody tell me what this pigtail with the white wire is on the coil plug harness ? It was taped to the wire loom. It’s an 87. Wondering if it would’ve been for a factory tach option?

Yes that looks like the wire to connect to for a tach.
