Picked up an 86 K10 stepside 700r4-np208 sitting on bald 38.5 boggers with a 14bff swap. Looking into upgrading a few things but wanted to try to figure out what type (manufacturer) Suspension lift it has already. I was told it had 12" of lift (8" suspension w/ 4" body lift), but im kinda skeptical about the 8" suspesion part. From what I can tell it has 2" lift blocks in the rear and aftermarket springs mounted in the stock positions i think. Any help ID'ing the suspension would be appreciated. This is a hunting/mud truck only and will not see any pavement use. Planning on upgrading the front to a dana 60 and fit some 18.4x16.1 american farmers under there in the near future. Def. needs more lift to fit the tractor tires and more mods but not sure what im working with (suspension) to start.

How she's sitting now

Be a fun toy when you get the farmers on it. What part of Florida are you in?

why does everyone say 4 inch body lift? unless it's an illegal home built body lift it's 3 inches only or 2 that's it.

Now it definately looks to have one, I'd say 3 inch, I also see what looks like 2 inch rear blocks under the rear springs, are the fenders front or rear trimmed? they look like it. I'm thinking it's a 6 inch kit then 3 inch body lift but I could be wrong.

Its definitely a homemade body lift. lol. Most of the tubes measure 4" with exception to the fronts which are 3". There's a little trimming on the front lip of the front fender but it doesn't look like the rear fenders have been touched.

Smurph,
Thanks I hope so. Im in Jupiter just north of west palm area.

Cool i used to live in Winter Garden just west of Orlando. On your lift is there any numbers or marks that could help identify it as in some kind of part number or something.
