I have a aluminum flex fan mounted directly to my water pump pulley, which I know is common and perfectly fine, but I'm looking to go electric.
I'm contemplating going the super simple way and just mounting an elec. fan onto the radiator, but I'd like to think a shroud would be more efficient at cooling. Dual or single fan shroud I'm not picky about, I'd just like to know if anyone has found a shroud that fits like a glove on a stock sized radiator for a 1981 C10 with a 305 sbc?
I'd prefer to not buy the expensive all aluminum radiator kit, w/ shroud, since I just bought a new radiator and want to find a shroud that I might be able to remove and replace when and if the stock sized radiator ever does need to be replaced again.
