I had the exhaust shop install some center dump 2.5" ram horns on my truck years ago when they were redoing the whole exhaust system. Didn't quite fit on the driver's side due to clearance issues with the motor mount. The modified the mount a bit to make it work though. This was 12 years ago and haven't had any problems with them since.

EDIT: The manifolds did have some odd bracket that was built in for power steering? The bracket stuck off the front of the manifold. Exhaust shop cut the brackets off and ground them down.

That bracket was a generator mount.

The older ramhorns had that mount.

I have ORD motor mounts which are a considerably smaller footprint than stock. I won't be so hesitant to move forward with center dumps now lol

Those look great. I was under the truck yesterday doing some measuring. I was thinking of going with a rear facing dump on the drivers side and a straight down dump on the passenger side.??

77 K20, Do you have a couple of pics of the down pipes from under the truck? I'm trying to figure out about how long that pipe needs to be before 90 degree bend aft. Thanks

I'm a long ways away from my truck right now but I have these existing pictures that kinda show how far the pipes hang down and their routing.

Found one right after the exhaust was installed. Exhaust pipe isn't rusted yet. It was backwhen I had the full size stock starter even.

With the engine replacement I went to a GM performance starter. Much smaller and cranks the engine faster with less current.

I have a set of factory ram horns off of a mid 70's GMC C8000 with a 350 that I am going to have installed on my 350. I need to go to them as my dipstick went from the right side of the engine to the left side, and with the stock manifold going "over" the spark plugs, I can't put in a dipstick. I'm also going to see about a set of spark plug wire retainers. First pic is the ram horns I have, and the 2nd pic is the stock manifold from 84
