I just replaced all four tie rods and both adjuster sleeves for $212 through Summit Racing. All Moog parts

Just a little terminology correction here to potentially avoid confusion:

There's only two tie rod ends, not four. The link that connects the pitman arm to the steering arm is called a drag link, therefore, those two are called drag link ends.

I agree with the drag link ends nomenclature, but have also seen some parts references call them inner tie rods. IMHO that’s not correct, but I’ve seen it.

As have I. Occasionally the parts retail companies add to the confusion.

I little of road trick I learned years ago. To prevent long hollow tie rods from bending, drive a solid rod down the center. Not perfect but better. If the tubing can't collapse on itself it doesn't bend as easy or as bad. We used to cut the rod out of sway bars. Find one with a long enough straight section the right diameter.
Also how we bulletproofed or repaired bent snowmobile steering posts. Quick fix, drop a 1/2” allthread in the tube. Better fix, do the same but fill annulus with epoxy.

Factory tube with 2 outer links was 7/8 thread but the factory heavy duty steering linkage with one tie rod outer is 1 inch

Note, all of these products are Gold/Silver which are NOT made by GM but private labeled. For example the white steering stabilizer at the end looks just like a gabriel product

Figured I would wait in here since I’m in the middle of a dual steering stabilizer project myself.

I’m using the rough country V2 dual steering stabilizer and what I can tell you is that the shocks are made for stock ride height. Don’t ask me why changing lift and tire size makes a difference, but that’s what the rep told me.

After measuring and playing around with it, I can tell you that that steering stabilizer comes with shocks that are 23 inches when they are extended and the issue I’m running into is that they are too short and pulling my mounting hardware on the outside from one side of the leaf spring to the other, so that’s a good 6 to 8 inches of play Meaning if you get this kit, you should get shocks that are 6 to 8 inches longer in my opinion.

For now, I’m just taking the shocks off of their and leaving the mounts so if anyone has suggestions on a good brand of shock to run for the steering stabilizer and what length I am open to suggestions but right now it’s not in the budget to buy more shocks

The lift matters in my view only if you are moving your steering linkage, which you dont appear to be

Rock auto doesn't sell them I was needing one for my 85 K10. LMC is your best bet, price wasn't too bad either, $48 plus shipping.

Rockauto most definitely does.

I don't order much from Lmc anymore, the quality is hit and miss and you don't know where the stuff comes from or brand. Mechanical stuff I've never ordered from them.
