Anyone know a good source for tie rod boots by size?

I tore the one on my crossover steering, cannot remember who I bought it from and the local parts stores aren't much help.

Rockauto gives dimensions for a good bit of stuff, otherwise I'm no help.

Why not just buy a ball joint, use the boot and toss the rest. Rock Auto has economy brand ball joints for $10 and under.

A bit of Googling and I find plenty that are under $20. I just guessed and picked 1985 K10

I'm assuming he actually needs a boot for a tie rod end,not a ball joint (assuming) also assuming he damaged it with a pickle fork ( quit using pickle forks they are not necessary) also assuming he doesn't know exactly what tie rod end he needs because his crossover steering is an aftermarket kit. Those are my guesses.

I had torn boot and also did energy suspension. No 'leaks'.

Look at Es2027l es2026r moog . Now taking ball joints and tierod ends loose. Take the nut off, then put it back on with like 4 threads, just barely on,stick a long stiff pry bar behind the tie rod and try to pry it out,you can't,your just putting serious tension on the joint in an out ward direction. Now smack the side of the socket that the tierod end is going through HARD with a hammer. The vibration will pop the socket apart,no damage to anything.

There are tons of universal boots out there in every shape and size.
Just gotta search. I’ve replaced countless tie rod, ball jt and cv boots over the years.
In a pinch I’ve used a couple wraps of inner tube and zip ties as well.
