Small tach

Does anyone make a small tach that would fit into the spot where a clock would normally go? I've looked online and cant find anything. Has anyone modified one to fit in that spot?

Some medium duty trucks have a tach with a small fuel level gauge. The last small hole is used for brake air or vacuum gauge.

If you find one, it will bolt in your plastic gauge holder. Need to cut some of the plastic behind the gauge and pull fuel gauge wire out of the circuit connector and extend to the gauge.

Just what I was thinking. All sorts of them cheap on Amazon or expensive ones on Summit and other web sites.

Several do - VDO probably makes the best, but at around $80-100. I used to resto 4N cars and probably have had 20 of them.

Do a google search for 52mm tachs.

i know LMC has the tach for stock ....and....LS swapped vehicles for next to the speedo. They also have smaller fuel gauges.

Looking at the prices for either....they are about the same as aftermarket and cheaper then going all digital.

research a bit here and there for reviews

Search for mini tachometer gauge. Motorcycle aftermarket has mini gauges with sizes like 1 7/8" but they are pricey...as everything these days.
A small fuel gauge and a stock tach would be the nicest solution.
