Usually during acceleration or a hill climb. I've heard this is a fairly common issue for this trans. Is there anything that can be done about it?

Iirc this is usually a shift fork or synchro issue.

I read somewhere earlier the shift forks can become bent from forcing it into gear or resting your hand on the shifter while driving.
