My focus st. I just need to have a stick even though I commute in Houston traffic 80 miles everyday.

Fun, big enough for the kids, decent gas mileage. Has full leather recaros which makes it feel "special." Im hapoy with it.

Had a Fiesta st before this which was more fun but my daughter said she wanted a bigger car for her to fit in the backseat better.

Wife drives an 09 suburban ltz so keeping it gm elsewhere.

I've nev6er understood that either. GM did it for a while in the mid-90s OBS's as well with the 6.5. With fuel prices the way they are, you'd think the 1500 diesel would sell like hotcakes for the mileage. Granted, the EcoDiesel in the Chryslers had some serious shortcomings in their first 2 generations (which is why I went Hemi instead) but the GM and Ford small diesels have great reputations as far as I'm aware. If I were in the market for a new or 2-3yr old truck, I'd certainly be looking at a baby Dmax 1500 or PowerJoke F150
My Sprinter is the OM-651 2.1L 4cyl diesel. I am constantly amazed at the fuel mileage that a vehicle of that size can accomplish. MB has been in the small diesel market for many years both with their 3.0L 6 and the 4 cyl offerings and have a great following in that crowd.

I have no idea however why the small high efficiency diesels never took off in the American truck market. Horsepower and towing wars between the big 3 didn't help and of course everyone wants 30K lbs+ of towing capacity to handle their 6x12 utility trailer. But, I digress.

O4 burb my big brother sold me for a $1 when trans in my 03 Silverado died. Use as a work truck and daily driver. Most recent repairs have been replacing front cracked winshield and back window when molded hinges died. Steering gear box next.
5.3L, 4L60E, original miles. Runs superb!

Yup it includes Burby's over there too. Lot's of good tech info and help for the GMT400's and up.
Well, as it turns out I was on that forum way back when I lived in Nashville and had my GMC Yukon. Looks like I'll be circling back with my GMC Suburban now.
