Shock Frame Mount Damage

Hey y'all,

The frame mount for the driver side shock has been damaged. There's hardly any threads for the hardware to seat and secure the strut. I also found frame damage for the rear, passenger side shock mount. It seems as though mounting area has been pulled down, away from the frame itself. I'm looking for feedback on what you would do if you were in this situation. Appreciate y'all!

There shouldn't be threads in the frame. The fronts the bolts go through the inside of the frame, the rear are studs.

Those are the worst rear mounts I've ever seen. Needs cut out, cleaned up and a plate installed in the hole. Possibly a fish plate on the backside, but it gets tricky because there's only so much thread on the studs to use.

I used a chunk of heavy wall tube once, but mine weren't that bad. Would for sure add an outer shock brace. Need to make sure the frame rail isn't cracked out through the top as well.

If you've got skills fab something up to repair the frame hole, welding a washer there is popular..
and/or add some additional support also...

Thank you for the feedback and I'm happy to hear that I'm already in it with this rear mount! I don't have much skill with fabrication, so I'm searching for a shop that can help me out with the frame issue.
Also, I've since ordered new upper mounting hardware for the front shock to see if I can install as-is. If not, I found that Summit has a repositioning bolt-on mount for the front struts so I went ahead and ordered those, just in case.
