IMO, hit rods are a lil different. I don't a bit more rake in a true hot rod but in trucks and most cruisers I like 'em pretty level.

And I love a slight rake in mine...call me old school, but to me it looks awesome. :)

I like the front either level or a little lower as well. My rear springs are worn out and it drives me insane.

I was looking around for something to lift the front of my truck up, to level it out, but couldn't find anything. The rear of my truck sits way to high for me, I was looking at a rear shackle drop kit, that looks like those.

I was looking around for something to lift the front of my truck up, to level it out, but couldn't find anything. The rear of my truck sits way to high for me, I was looking at a rear shackle drop kit, that looks like those.

They do make leveling kits to bring the front up a couple inches. You may have to look at some off road outfits or something. That's what I plan on doing in the future but have not looked into it yet to see where the parts are located.
